Ricky is a miracle worker! I finally passed my driving test on my fourth try (but my first attempt whilst learning with Ricky). I enquired with Kent Intensive Driving School for intensive lessons and heard back on the same day. I was booked in within the month which couldn't have been any quicker! A very responsive and hard working company. Having failed three tests in Canterbury, I came to Ricky suffering quite badly with test anxiety, and he was able to help me stay calm and positive. The driving lessons were very indicative of test conditions and the routes and he spent a lot of time focussing on what to expect in tests. There was no pressure at all on whether I passed or failed, only encouragement and friendliness. He fully trusted me and my confidence has soared. For anyone who may be anxious at the thought of tests, with driving or just generally, I could not recommend anyone better! I did have previous experience, but I passed within a week of lessons. I did an intensive course with Kent intensive driving school, passing my test yesterday. Paul was very quick to respond to my enquiry, immediately introducing me to my instructor and booking me a test (not an easy task!) Ricki was my instructor. He was patient, kind and understanding. I had a severe problem of debilitating nervousness driving under test conditions and he really helped me feel at ease. He quickly worked out out how best to help me, troubleshooting the issues I was having with kindness and compassion. I started the course feeling like I wasn't a good driver and ended it feeling confident and in control. Ricki has a wealth of knowledge and a flexible approach, quickly learning how his students tick and how to help them learn best. He is a great instructor for learners who are autistic or have ADHD and and I can highly recommend him as a driving instructor. He was always calm, patient, and incredibly clear when explaining things, which made every day on the intensive course relaxed and productive.
